Shanley Narens is a tattooer and artist whose work blends traditional American tattoo techniques with a distinct folk-art aesthetic developed over the past decade. Beyond tattooing, she works across multiple mediums, including painting, illustration, animation, and most recently, woodworking and furniture making.
Deeply inspired by mythology and occult symbolism, Shanley reinterprets ancient narratives through their own lens, crafting a personal mythology that speaks to timeless human experiences. Their work is a contribution to the ever-evolving story of human expression, driven by a desire to connect to something greater than themselves.
