We are here for you!
Getting a tattoo can be a transformative experience, a healing journey, an act of expression and self-love, or all of the above and more. Birdhouse artists have a deep respect for this process and many of us hold the same ideals for our own tattoo journeys.
We honor consent, so at any stage in the tattoo process, you can let us know if there’s anything you need from us to make your time more comfortable.
When you imagine a nest, what qualities do you think of? We imagine a comfortable space that keeps you safe, and warm, and fosters growth, which are all the qualities that we want Birdhouse to offer.
Many of our artists are neurodivergent, so we understand the importance of having just the right amount of sensory stimulation. We are happy to adjust the volume of the music, offer our adorable fidget slugs as a companion, and won’t be offended if you need to listen to your own music or podcast with noise canceling headphones. All of our artists use tattoo machines that make barely any noise at all, so you won’t have to worry about listening to the jarring buzz of traditional machines. <3
Biodegradable options
Always on the hunt for new biodegradable options for our single-use plastics, we’ve already found a lot of options to make your tattoo more environmentally friendly.
From our ink cups to the plastic surrounding our equipment, and even the razors that we use for shaving, most of our disposables will not last hundreds of years in a landfill.

We have limited parking in the back of the building, however, parking is allowed in the neighborhood surrounding the studio.
