New submission form for Fae
Fae is a queer, non-binary artist, born and raised in Oregon. They have spent their entire life drawing and creating, knowing from a very young age that tattooing was their calling. They have been tattooing full time since 2022, with a focus on blackwork and illustrative style pieces. While they do like to branch out (pun intended), a lot of their art highlights botanicals, animals, insects, and other things of the natural world. Other subject matter that they’re drawn to includes tarot, oddities, and surrealism/ornamental elements. Fae really enjoys doing symmetrical (identical or complementary) projects and would love to do more of these in the future.
In their practice, Fae focuses on consent based tattooing. They hope to create a safe space for clients to ask questions, take breaks, establish boundaries and advocate for themselves. Knowing how intimate and personal getting tattooed can be, Fae does their best to accommodate the needs of their clients and create a comfortable environment. Whether that’s a silent appointment, moving/resizing the stencil, or having a friend at the appointment for support, the client need only ask.
They primarily focus on doing flash (pre-drawn) pieces. Custom projects are reserved for repeat clients so that they are able to discuss the concept with the client in person and make sure it is a good fit within their style.
